Carmella’s Kids is one of the premier preschools in the area. We have a 2 year old room, 3 year old room, 4 year old room, preschool program for ½ day and much more!!!!!!!!

Carmella’s Kids follows the curriculum Little Treasures- McMillan Mc Graw Hill approved curriculum for preschool programs. This curriculum runs on units, has assessments at the end of each unit and well... Is just plain awesome! It encompasses important facets in learning!

Our center starts off the day at our oversized fun JUNGLE GYM! We then all settle and have a traditional breakfast! From there we learn, have fun learning and learn some more!

After breakfast we split into classes and launch into our day with circle time! Our circle time includes, the good morning song, pledge of allegiance, grand old flag, Days of the week, Attendance Board, Months of the year, Seasons, Weather Watcher, Classroom centers, Classroom Rules, Jobs for the day, and Classroom schedule for the day.

After circle time we launch right into our lesson time, writing time. We start with strokes in the 2’s, writing in the 3’s and putting words and writing together in the pre k program, We then split into centered themed activities: Centers include: Dramatic Play, Reading Corner, Math and manipulatives, writing center, art center. We then give the brain a little break and go outside for some fresh air for recess. When we come in we start a fun time of day…..music and movement!

Following music we sit down for some fine socialization at Lunch time. Following lunch time we have rest time (age 2 and 3 only) Following rest time We have Math, Art and finally social studies. Each day we have a special fun end of the day activity.

We do not use TVs in our center, we wash and practice good hygiene daily and well we just think our program is spectacular! We provide breakfast and 2 snacks for your child daily and our teachers are here to answer any questions that you have!

Our pre-k program is a ½ day or full day program. We pick up from all local schools in Worcester County! We cannot wait for you to join our awesome program!!!!!!
